As renters, our family visited SML several times and had some of our most memorable vacations there. Because of how much we enjoyed the lake, we decided to purchase a home at SML – our first endeavor of this kind. The few times there have been issues (power outages, mechanical issues, etc.), the team was always quick to communicate with us and resolve the problem so that our renters could fully enjoy their time at our home. From the very first meeting, we knew this company was different! We interviewed several companies, and SML Vacation Rentals had it all together from the start. They provided a beautiful portfolio, including a comprehensive list of what is needed to make a successful short-term rental. The description and pictures highlight our home in a way that makes people want to visit. As we upgrade and change furnishing in the home, they update our site to keep it accurate. We love that what you see is what you get. We have not been disappointed yet! Communication about issues that arise and facilitation to remedy those problems is quick and easy. The repair cost is deducted from the house commission to pay vendors, so I never had to worry about receiving an invoice and writing a check to pay for it. My house is well maintained. My cleaner is wonderful and goes above and beyond to ensure that each guest has the same positive experience as the last guest. We love reading our guest book and online reviews to know that our visitors have a wonderful time and make memories at our lake home that are almost as good as ours!
